Handcrafted candle holder in natural stone with rock face front (hand chipped) and smooth sides.

All pieces are crafted in natural stone. This results in variations in color and texture, where each piece is unique (especially the red travertine version has notable variations). All products are sold untreated and do not require additional treatments over time. 

Snug candle holders are made by Catalan stonemasons who have mastered their craft for four generations, dating back to 1880. The pieces are made from natural stone, some up to 500 million years old, in a workshop in a small mountain village in Barcelona.

Stone is a material created and shaped by history, through shifting continents, seas, and earthquakes. Some tell their story through banded layers, others through fossils. And it is here, in their sheer variation, that Snug finds its beauty.

The size of the candle holder is 15x3x9 cm, designed to be used with drip-less candles of size Ø22 mm. 
In order to avoid possible wax stains, wind should be avoided. It is also recommended to remove candles once they reach the stone.
