Plastic waste is without doubt one of the main polluters of the seas. Whether it is the microplastic particles which is infused in the seas or the mountains of plastic bottles on the beaches. While many countries have (oh finally) introduced a recycling system already and many producers are switching to glass bottles to ensure a more sustainable consumptions, wast part of our human society have not sorted out this problem yet.

As producers of commercial products, it is our responsibility to address this problem in a way that makes sense for our brand, our products and customers, without decreasing the quality of our outcome.

By being a super small independent brand, we see it as a privilige to be able to create a solution and not being part of the problem.

This is why we have switched our production for a surface completely made of recycled PET bottles. In order to produce one mat, we recycle the plastic of approximately 8 bottles. With this change in our production, we do not produce any more plastic and take a step towards a more circular economy.
